  In this tutorial you will learn how to outline image in Photoshop by adding a white outline to a cutout image. Let’s start with this photo of a young girl. Press  Control+J  to duplicate the Girl layer by making a copy. Next, we have to extract the person from the background. To make selection in Photoshop,  you can use the  Pen Tool  or selection tools like the  Quick Selection Tool . Click on the   Add Layer Mask   button from the bottom menu of the   Layers   tab.
